thyssenkrupp carbon wheels successfully completed all necessary tests for the German National Type Approval (ABE) as well as the JWL and DOT E certifications. Thus thyssenkrupp carbon wheels are the first carbon wheels in the world with a worldwide approval for the use on public roads. The only exception are the wheels for the BMW HP4 RACE, which is not allowed to be used on public roads.
Our carbon wheels are homologated with a German National Type Approval (ABE). In Germany an additional single entry is not necessary. In other countries please check with your local regulatory authority, if further actions for wheel registration are required.
