The carbon family: thyssenkrupp’s carbon wheels portfolio
While the whole evolution started with the OEM cooperation in order to equip BMW’s most exclusive motorcycle, the HP4 RACE, with equally exclusive wheels, the range of thyssenkrupp carbon wheels is available for motorcycles of seven manufacturers.
For the Japanese star brand Yamaha, thyssenkrupp Carbon Components offers their braided carbon wheels for currently five models of the brand’s flagship YZF R1 range. The advantages of the uniquely manufactured and designed wheels made of carbon fibre support the Yamaha riders when experiencing their KANDO. Surely, the thyssenkrupp carbon additions will upgrade the handling of the Yamaha superbikes, while it doesn’t matter if it is on a race track or a public road.
In comparison to the start with the BMW HP4 RACE, thyssenkrupp’s aftermarket carbon wheels portfolio ranges up to the new S1000 RR in order to make the HP4 RACE quality available also for the newest BMW model. A total of five models in Style 1 and four models in Style 2 can be purchased on the market and therefore offer the biggest brand availability for thyssenkrupp carbon wheels at the moment.
The development is continuous and new models are being added regularly, while the technology remains spectacular and innovative nonetheless. With the largest radial braiding machine in the world, thyssenkrupp Carbon Components is able to set the standards for quality and optics equally high. With the latest milestone of the worldwide road approval, the German carbon wheels manufacturer is aiming to challenge the status quo on the wheel market more than before.
